SaaS/Subscription Cancellations

Customers can cancel their subscriptions, in part or entirely, with at least +10 days notice prior to each subscription term renewal date. Cancellation requests for subscription licenses must be submitted to Licenses. The cancellation will not take effect until after the current Subscription Term. No refunds or credit will be given for remaining days of subscription term.

These cancellation terms apply the same for monthly and yearly subscriptions.

After cancellation notice is given, the subscription continues to be available until the requested effective date of cancellation, but never later then the last day of the subscription term. Once that cancellation takes effect, the customer will no longer have rights to use the software and must stop using the solution. When cancelling the subscription, the solution must be removed from the customer location.

Cancellations due to Insolvency

The partner is responsible for payment of any outstanding amounts regardless of whether the customer can't pay or refuses to pay for the subscription due to dissolution of the business relationship, bankruptcy, commercial disagreement with the partner, or other reasons not directly related to Microsoft's ability to provide the services. If a customer is considered a risk for payment default or insolvency, you should consider either:

•     Asking them to purchase a monthly term subscription option that allows for subscription cancellation at the end of any month.

•     Not selling to that customer.
